Have you ever noticed the bags under her eyes? Or the anger issues that she has? Her dull cheeks and cracked lips, still forced into a smile. You've never been there; at her place. You don't know what she has been through. You don't know how hard she tried to pick up the pieces of herself when she falls apart and still tries to be happy. You get mad and suddenly ignores her. You're mad with her because she doesn't share her problems with you.
But did you know why she keeps everything bottled up? It is better that way. Because if she starts telling you her story, all that she feel is pain and it will just make her cry again and again. That's why she chose to be happy, even though she's not. And you don't even realize that every single day, the smile that she has been wearing for all these times, is just another way of representation for her, to show that she's strong, while she's actually not. She's just still struggling to show everyone that she's a fighter. And that she will be alright.
She's broken enough. And she needs someone who really cares. And not someone who's ego who thinks that they shouldn't go find and ask her if she's having hard time, or not. People like this tells her that she should just keep it to herself. Because she thinks that in the end, everyone will leave. So she breathed through her life as if it were a battlefield and wished that one day she would live and not just survive.
